We’re about to have visitors
Okay, everybody, make sure your hair is combed, your teeth are brushed and your hands are clean.
They are coming to look us over.
Editorial and marketing teams from Sky magazine will be in Lexington in March and April to do a 28-page special section for Sky’s June issue.
Dubbed “Portrait: Lexington’s Bluegrass Region,” it could be seen by up to 3.4 million Delta Air Lines passengers, local officials said Monday.
The Bluegrass was selected for Delta’s official magazine because “we have an amazing story to tell — one that we want to share with the world,” said a letter from Lexington Mayor Jim Newberry and other local officials.
From downtown redevelopment to the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games in 2010, “there couldn’t be a more appropriate time for this editorial feature,” the letter said.
So stomach in, chest out, spine ramrod straight — we’re about to be inspected.
