Get a room soon or bring a tent
Time is running out if you need a hotel room in Lexington during the week of Sept. 15, Keeneland warned Friday in an “alert” to horse buyers.
Rooms are going fast because there are two big events that week: The Ryder Cup golf tournament in Louisville and the second week of the 2008 Keeneland September Yearling Sale in Lexington.
Louisville hotels are booked and golf fans are getting rooms in Lexington. “We urge you to contact your hotel of choice soon” if you need a reservation, Keeneland said.
Organizers of the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games in 2010 say the Ryder Cup will be a preview of those games in terms of hotels, restaurants and traffic.
Ryder Cup rooms are nearly gone six months out so equestrian sports fans should book for 2010 as early as they can.

Excellent! Thanks for doing this…it’s really nice to know that I’m not alone on a lot of these things.

The Ryder cup is so interesting if you’re golf sports lovers as I do. This event which has begun this is nearly a century. And since then and it becomes one of the most attractive events of golf sports. Golf lovers get familiar to attend this event but as far I’m concerned sometimes tickets in such important events are hard to get and prices gone sky rocked. Lately, a friend has discovered a site where one can do the comparison of ticket prices for free and purchase with the lowest prices offered.
