Valvoline mixes Wi-Fi with 10W30
Does your car need an oil change?
Do you have e-mails to answer?
Now you can get both jobs done at the same time.
Valvoline Instant Oil Change now has free wireless Internet access, or Wi-Fi, at all of its locations, including 20 in Central Kentucky.
In a statement that says a lot about modern life, Valvoline President Tony Puckett said, “Our basic oil change usually takes less than 15 minutes, but we still understand that some customers want the option of staying productive on-line.”
To accommodate them, the Lexington-based fast-lube provider added Wi-Fi as part of an upgrade of its Internet data system, said Valvoline spokesman Barry Bronson.
Wi-Fi was “the natural next step,” he said. “It’s a feel-good thing” that tells customers Valvoline understands their lives.
Next step, a car that drives itself to Valvoline while we stay in front of our computers night and day.
