The folks at Lexington’s Griffin Gate Marriott Resort & Spa spotted a trend and jumped right on it.

Thom Smith, technical director for the Lexington-based Valvoline division of Ashland Inc., recently taped two segments on motor oil for PBS’ MotorWeek at Maryland Public Television.

The Weaver family of New Castle in Henry County has owned eight Volvos since 1994.
