Big Ass Fans battle hot air in Denver
Politicians are known for wind power, but they have met their match at the Democratic National Convention.
The Pepsi Center in Denver uses two 24-foot Big Ass Fans to keep the temperature the same throughout the arena, the Lexington company says.
The fans were installed two years ago to prevent heated air from rising to the ceiling in winter and cool air from collecting along the floor in summer.
Visitors should be more comfortable and arena operators should get lower energy bills, Big Ass says.

Only two hard-workin’ Big Ass Fans know the answer.
